Judy Deichman
Judy Deichman is a highly accomplished National Board Certified Librarian with a passion for education and literacy. Since 2015, she has held this prestigious certification, demonstrating her commitment to excellence in her field. Currently, Judy serves as the Coordinator of Library Services at Richmond Public Schools, a role she has held since 2019. Prior to this, she dedicated nearly a decade to Nottoway Middle School, where she made a significant impact as a librarian from 2010 to 2019. Judy's academic journey is equally impressive, having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of South Florida in 1987. Her passion for literacy and life long learning led her to earn a Masters of Education in School Librarianship from Longwood University in 2010. In addition to her professional roles, Judy is actively involved in various organizations. She has held the esteemed position of Past President in VAASL and currently serves as the Treasurer for AASL and the VaNBCT Network, highlighting her dedication to advancing the field of library services and education.
